Sour Dubble
About Sour Dubble
Sour Dubble, also referred to as Sour Dubbs, is a pretty evenly-balanced hybrid. An older version of Sour Dubble usedEast Coast Sour Dieselto breed withSour Bubble. A newer version in which the indica characteristics are slightly more pronounced has been made by BOG Seeds out of Northern California that uses Sour Diesel IBL or Inbred Line.
This process of selective inbreeding is used to express dominant traits of a strain. The Sour Dubble buds appear lime and neon green with patches of amber. This is due to the high level of trichomes present.
They make the flower look furry and brighter overall. Long orange pistils are scattered everywhere throughout the buds. The odor omitted from Sour Dubble is very strong.
This combined with the insane amount of trichomes hints at the potency of this strain. THC levels for this hybrid have tested up to 26%! Sour Dubble smells like gasoline and citrus fruit with hints of sandalwood.
This strain is noted for significantly uplifting mood and energy levels, alongside improving concentration. Users appreciate its ability to energize both the mind and body without leading to couch-lock, making it ideal for those looking to stay active and engaged. Sour Dubble is particularly favored for its potential to enhance both physical activities, such as yoga, by promoting a stronger connection between mind and muscles, and tasks requiring creativity.
Typically, it is most enjoyed during daytime hours, though some have found it useful before meals to stimulate appetite. Sour Dubble is very susceptible to mold and mildew, so it is probably better left for experienced cultivators. The version from BOG Seeds is reportedly more mold resistant than the others.
It is a fast grower that can be ready for harvest in under 8 weeks. It produces moderate yields of about 10 ounces of flower per meter squared.
