Red Tropicana Cookies

Red Tropicana Cookies is a feminised photoperiod cross of two vigorous and potent sisters from a Sour Tropicana Cookies selection. The mother in this cross is a fast-growing Sativa with compact buds and a unique appearance. During the growth phase she develops beautiful slender leaves with a red vein in the centre of the leaf, this is where she gets her ‘Red’ name from.

The father is a (reversed) female cannabis plant that is known for beautiful, purple-coloured buds with a special aroma. This is certainly not your standard weed smell, intense notes of fruit, cream and cookie dough are complemented by a certain funkiness from the Sour Diesel parent. This really takes the taste to a new level.

Pungent sweet and sour notes contrast with chemical notes of gasoline & jet-fuel. The flowering time averages between 63 and 70 days. Indoor growers can expect plants with a good stretch when the light cycle is switched to 12/12.

Red Tropicana Cookies also does very well in a greenhouse or an outdoor grow in warm and dry areas! She always remains controllable (especially for a Sativa) and her height can be further controlled by snapping, bending or (super)cropping. In terms of potency, she averages between 19-23% THC, but there are known outliers that have exceeded 26%!

Although she has an extremely high THC level, the effect of this strain remains relaxed and chilled. She is slightly euphoric and energetic but never becomes too trippy or racy.
