On the shelf this month: a wrestler’s multi-state rollout and a race to the bottom on price
From RVD420’s seven-state debut to Canopy chasing high potency on a budget, June’s launches show two very different bets.

The product news this month splits neatly into two strategies. On the celebrity side, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam is rolling his RVD420 THC line into seven states through a national distribution partner, with a direct-to-consumer CBD line landing alongside it — a familiar play to convert an existing fanbase into shelf pull.
On the other end, Canopy Growth introduced a budget brand built around high potency, leaning into the reality that a lot of shoppers are buying on price and THC percentage in a tight economy. It is a blunt bet, and a telling one about where mass-market demand actually sits right now.
There is craft movement too: ingredient supplier True Terpenes launched a new aromatic product aimed at the formulators chasing more distinctive, terpene-forward experiences. Between celebrity reach, budget potency, and terpene craft, this month’s drops are a decent map of who each brand thinks its customer really is.
